Becoming an 888 poker ambassador has given me the opportunity to return to this amazing city and I will be blogging my adventures through Europe over the next 8 weeks. Half the trip will be consumed with poker playing, and hopefully me finally winning my first WSOP bracelet, and the other half will be taken up with my travels and experiences through Europe.
As I sit here I have been in London for just over 24 hours and feeling ok considering the long flight from OZ. My husband, Jamie, decides we are going to try and be money conscious and opts for economy flights so please take into consideration that the photos that follow are of me looking a bit rough!
We land in London at 5.30 am local time and store our luggage at the airport as we only have 36hrs here before flying to Morocco. We organise some Sim cards and jump on the Underground train heading to Piccadilly Circus and our apartment for the night which is right in the heart of Soho. After a quick freshen up we hit the streets before we are tempted to crash. I want to try and get my body clock use to the local timezone as quickly as possible.
The Fresh chilly air wakes me up slightly as we explore the local area but do nothing for the bags under my eyes.

My first stop is Whole Foods. I am such a fan of this place and I grab myself a Veggie Juice of Kale, Beetroot, Broccoli, Celery, Spinach and Carrot to try help my body recover from the long flight.

We really cant be bothered checking out any sights today so we wander around Oxford St shops for a while filling in some time before meeting up with Jen and Gareth from 888 for an unexpected lunch date.
We manage to find the restaurant on time and have a fun lunch and consume too many wines and limoncello.

The afternoon turns cold but we troop on for a few more hours taking in the atmosphere of one of my fav cities in the world.

Around 5pm we head back to the apartment to have a short sleep before heading out again for the night. We don't get back out until around 9.30pm and find it hard to find a traditional English pub still serving food. I am not fussed about eating but end up sharing some of Jamie's traditional fish and chips with mushy peas. The mushy peas are gross and taste as bad as they look.
After a long day we head home and call it a day.

This morning we get up and do a make shift workout in the apartment before heading out for a big breakfast that we share.

Next stop will be Morocco. A place I have wanted to visit for ages and I cant wait! I am playing a 888poker tournament there and cant wait to meet some of the 888poker players.
